The story of MELIA didn’t begin with a tech startup or an influencer’s unboxing video. It began in the quiet corner of a grandmother’s house. Every afternoon, Bà Sáu would dust off a photo frame with fading pictures of her grandchildren, all now grown and scattered across cities.
One day, her son noticed.
She smiled and said, “Sometimes I forget their voices, but I still talk to these photos.”
That night, he whispered to himself:
“What if photos could speak again?”
And from that whisper, MELIA was born — a smart photo frame that doesn’t just display images, but delivers real-time connection, softly and lovingly.

Together with a team of engineers and family therapists, he created a frame that requires no tech know-how: it lights up when new photos arrive, gently plays recorded voice notes, and updates with a single tap from loved ones’ phones — anywhere in the world.
Then, a daughter sent us this:
“My mom lives alone, but now when she hears my baby giggle through the frame, she laughs with her. It’s like we’re not that far anymore.”
